Ingredients:

* 2 ripe bananas, mashed
* 1/2 cup non-dairy milk (such as almond, soy, or coconut milk)
* 1/4 cup vegan butter or margarine, melted
* 1/2 cup sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 cup whole wheat bread, cubed
* 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
* 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, non-dairy milk, melted vegan butter or margarine, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
3. Add the cubed whole wheat bread to the mixture and stir until the bread is evenly coated.
