* 2 large eggs

* 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
* 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (at least 85% cocoa, optional)

Cook Time: 50-60 minutes
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 65-75 minutes
Tips and Variations:
* To make a chocolate peanut butter banana bread, simply add 1/4 cup of creamy peanut butter and an additional 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips to the batter.
* Swap out the walnuts for hazelnuts or pecans for a different flavor and texture.
* Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg on top of the bread before baking for an extra boost of flavor.
* Make individual muffins instead of a loaf by dividing the batter evenly among 8-10 muffin cups. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
