Quick and Easy Instant Pot Recipes Ground Beef
Ingredients:
* 1 lb ground beef
* 1 medium onion, diced
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
* 1 cup beef broth
* 1 tablespoon tomato paste
* 1 teaspoon dried oregano
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
* 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
* 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions:
1. Press the "Saute" button on the Instant Pot and heat the butter until melted.
2. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
4. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks, until browned, about 5-6 minutes.
5. Add the frozen peas and carrots, beef broth, tomato paste, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
6. Close the lid of the Instant Pot and make sure the valve is set to "Sealing".
7. Press the "Meat/Stew" button or "Manual" mode and set the cooking time to 10 minutes at high pressure.
8. When the cooking time is up, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick-release any remaining pressure.
9. Stir in the flour to thicken the sauce.
