Instant Pot Recipes Beef Stir Fry
Servings: 4-6
Ingredients:
* 1 pound beef strips (sirloin or ribeye), sliced into thin strips
* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 1 onion, sliced
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 cup mixed bell peppers (any color), sliced
* 2 teaspoons soy sauce
* 1 teaspoon oyster sauce (optional)
* 1 teaspoon honey
* Salt and pepper, to taste
* 1/4 cup beef broth
* 1 tablespoon cornstarch
* Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Press the "Saute" button on the Instant Pot and heat the oil until shimmering.
2. Add the beef strips and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.
3. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic to the pot and cook until the onion is translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
4. Add the mixed bell peppers to the pot and cook until they start to tenderize, about 2-3 minutes.
5. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and honey to the pot. Stir to combine.
6. Add the browned beef back to the pot and stir to combine with the sauce.
7. Add the beef broth and cornstarch mixture to the pot. Stir to combine and bring to a boil.
8. Close the lid of the Instant Pot and set the valve to "Sealing". Press the "Manual" or "Pressure Cook" button and set the cooking time to 5 minutes at high pressure.
9. Let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes, then quick-release any remaining pressure.
10. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds (if desired). Serve hot over rice or noodles.
