* 1 cup beef broth
* 1 cup red wine (optional)
* 1 teaspoon dried thyme
* 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
* 1 bay leaf
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
* 2 carrots, peeled and chopped

Instructions:

2. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, until fragrant.
3. Add the beef stew meat and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-6 minutes.
4. Add the beef broth, red wine (if using), thyme, rosemary, bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
5. Add the chopped carrots and potatoes to the pot.
6. Close the lid of the Instant Pot and make sure the valve is set to "Sealing". Press the "Meat/Stew" button or "Manual" mode and set the cooking time to 30 minutes at high pressure.
7. Let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick-release any remaining pressure.
8. Remove the lid and stir the stew to ensure the meat and vegetables are coated with the sauce.
9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or thyme if desired.
