Recipe: Frozen Ground Beef Instant Pot Tacos
Servings: 4-6
Ingredients:
* 1 lb frozen ground beef
* 1 onion, diced
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 packet of taco seasoning
* 1/2 cup water
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 8-10 taco-sized tortillas
* Shredded cheese, lettuce, and any other desired taco toppings
Instructions:
1. Press the "Saute" button on the Instant Pot and heat the olive oil until shimmering.
2. Add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
4. Add the frozen ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
5. Add the taco seasoning and water. Stir to combine.
6. Close the lid of the Instant Pot and set the valve to "Sealing". Press the "Manual" or "Pressure Cook" button and set the cooking time to 10 minutes at high pressure.
7. When the cooking time is up, allow the pressure to release naturally for 5 minutes, then quick-release any remaining pressure.
8. Open the lid and use two forks to shred the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
9. Warm the tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.
10. Assemble the tacos with the shredded ground beef, shredded cheese, lettuce, and any other desired toppings.
