  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup of milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 cup of frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of crushed crackers

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it is browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for a few minutes until it thickens.
  5. Stir in the frozen peas and carrots and cook until they are thawed.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Top the mixture with the shredded cheddar cheese and crushed crackers.
