This recipe is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines the flavors of chicken, garlic, and creamy sauce with pasta.
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 oz pasta of your choice (e.g., fettuccine, penne, or linguine)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until it is al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let cook for 2-3 minutes until it starts to thicken.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese, basil, salt, and pepper. Let the cheese melt and the sauce thicken for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet and stir to coat with the creamy sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the creamy garlic sauce.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Tips
- Use high-quality ingredients, such as fresh garlic and real Parmesan cheese, for the best flavor.
- Don’t overcook the pasta or the chicken, as this can make the dish tough and dry.
- Customize the recipe to your taste by adding other ingredients, such as diced vegetables or cooked bacon.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated in the microwave or on the stovetop.
