- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons melted butter

- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (adjust to your spice preference)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Cooking Guide:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, ketchup, melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Cajun seasoning, dill, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Tips:
- For a richer sauce, use full-fat mayonnaise and sour cream.
- If you don’t have Cajun seasoning, you can substitute with a combination of paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
- For a zestier flavor, add a tablespoon of finely chopped fresh chives or parsley to the finished sauce.
- This sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- To make a thinner sauce for dipping, whisk in a tablespoon or two of milk or heavy cream.
- Serve the sauce chilled with your favorite seafood.
