Classic Banana Bread with Sour Cream Recipe

Ingredients:

* 3 large ripe bananas, mashed
* 1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
* 1 tsp baking soda
* 1 tsp salt
* 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
* 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
* 1 large egg
* 1/2 cup (120g) sour cream
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1/2 cup (60g) chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set it aside.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
4. Beat in the egg and mashed bananas until well combined.
5. Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
6. Stir in the sour cream and vanilla extract.
7. If using walnuts, fold them into the batter.
8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
