Banana Bread Mousse Dessert Recipe

Ingredients:

* 3 ripe bananas, mashed
* 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
* 1/2 cup (120g) unsalted butter, softened
* 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
* 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
* 1/2 cup (60g) confectioners' sugar
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 cup (60g) unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1 cup (120g) heavy cream, whipped
* 1/2 cup (60g) chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
* 1/4 cup (30g) caramel sauce (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, sugar, and softened butter until well combined.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, vanilla extract, confectioners' sugar, and salt until stiff peaks form.
4. Fold the whipped cream into the banana mixture until well combined.
5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder and a pinch of salt.
6. Melt the whipped cream and banana mixture in a double boiler or in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring between each interval, until smooth.
7. Fold the cocoa powder mixture into the melted mixture until well combined.
8. Pour the mixture into small individual serving cups or ramekins.
9. If using, top with whipped cream, chopped nuts, or caramel sauce.
10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
