Potato Casserole Recipe

This classic potato casserole recipe is a delicious and comforting side dish that is perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds diced potatoes
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine diced potatoes, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine shredded cheese and milk. Stir until smooth.
  4. Add the melted butter to the potato mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  6. Add the potato mixture to the baking dish and top with the cheese mixture.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.

Tips

For a crispy top, sprinkle some extra shredded cheese on top of the casserole before baking.
