Goulash Recipes Easy Ground Beef Instant Pot
Ingredients:
* 1 lb ground beef
* 1 medium onion, chopped
* 2 cloves of garlic, minced
* 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
* 2 cups of chopped fresh tomatoes (or 1 can of diced tomatoes)
* 1 cup of beef broth
* 1 tablespoon of paprika
* 1 teaspoon of caraway seeds
* 1/2 teaspoon of salt
* 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
* 8 oz macaroni
* 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
* 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Press the "Saute" button on your Instant Pot and heat the pot until it reads "HOT".
2. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the pot. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the ground beef to the pot, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks, until it is fully browned, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Add the paprika, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper to the pot and stir to combine.
5. Add the chopped tomatoes, beef broth, and macaroni to the pot. Stir to combine.
6. Close the lid of the Instant Pot and set the valve to "SEALING".
7. Press the "Manual" or "Pressure Cook" button and set the cooking time to 10 minutes at high pressure.
8. When the cooking time is up, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick-release any remaining pressure.
9. Open the lid and stir the goulash to combine. Check the macaroni to make sure it is cooked to your liking. If not, close the lid and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
10. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
11. Serve the goulash hot, garnished with chopped parsley and shredded cheddar cheese if desired.
