Ground Beef Recipes For Dinner Healthy Instant Pot Recipe
Servings: 4-6 people
Ingredients:
* 1 lb Ground beef
* 1 onion, diced
* 2 cloves of garlic, minced
* 1 cup of frozen peas and carrots
* 1 cup of diced bell peppers (any color)
* 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
* 2 tablespoons of olive oil
* 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
* Salt and pepper, to taste
* 1 cup of low-sodium beef broth
* 1/2 cup of water
* 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
Instructions:
1. Press the "Saute" button on the Instant Pot and heat the olive oil until shimmering.
2. Add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
4. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks, until it's no longer pink, about 5-6 minutes.
5. Add the diced bell peppers, frozen peas and carrots, tomato paste, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
6. Pour in the beef broth and water, then stir to combine.
7. Close the lid of the Instant Pot and make sure the valve is set to "Sealing".
8. Press the "Manual" or "Pressure Cook" button and set the cooking time to 10 minutes at high pressure.
9. When the cooking time is up, allow the pressure to release naturally for 5 minutes, then quick-release any remaining pressure.
