Recipe: Beef Chuck Roast Recipes Instant Pot Asian

Ingredients:

* 2 pounds beef chuck roast
* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
* 1 teaspoon soy sauce
* 1 teaspoon oyster sauce (optional)
* 1 teaspoon sesame oil
* 1 teaspoon sugar
* 1/4 cup beef broth
* 1/4 cup water
* 2 tablespoons cornstarch
* 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
* 1/4 cup sliced green onions (optional)
* Salt and pepper to taste
* 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
* 1/4 cup sliced bell peppers (optional)

Instructions:

1. Press the "Saute" button on the Instant Pot and heat the oil until shimmering.
2. Add the garlic, ginger, and beef chuck roast. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the roast is browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sesame oil, sugar, beef broth, and water. Stir to combine.
4. Close the lid and set the valve to "Sealing". Press the "Manual" or "Pressure Cook" button and set the cooking time to 60 minutes at high pressure.
5. When the cooking time is up, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick-release any remaining pressure.
6. Stir in the cornstarch mixture (see note).
7. Press the "Saute" button again and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
