* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
* 1 cup granulated sugar
* 2 large eggs
* 1 tsp ground cinnamon
* 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
* 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
* 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

3. In another large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the mashed bananas and grated zucchini.
5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
6. Stir in the chopped walnuts, if using.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
8. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
9. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
10. Dust the cooled bread with confectioners' sugar, if desired.
