* 2 cups stale bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
* 1/2 cup granulated sugar
* 1/2 cup brown sugar
* 1/2 cup heavy cream
* 2 large eggs
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
* 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
* Confectioners' sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions:

4. Add the bread cubes to the mixing bowl and stir until the bread is evenly coated with the banana mixture.
5. Fold in the chopped nuts and melted butter until well combined.
6. Pour the mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish and let it sit for 10 minutes to allow the bread to absorb the liquid.
7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.
8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
9. Dust with confectioners' sugar, if desired.

Variations:
* Caramel Pecan Banana Bread Pudding: Add a tablespoon of caramel syrup and an additional 1/2 cup of chopped pecans to the recipe.
* Maple Walnut Banana Bread Pudding: Substitute maple syrup for the granulated sugar and add an additional 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts.
* Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Pudding: Add 1/2 cup of semisweet chocolate chips to the recipe.
* Boozy Banana Bread Pudding: Add 2 tablespoons of rum, bourbon, or brandy to the recipe for an adult twist.
Tips:
* Use stale bread to make the pudding, as it will absorb the liquid better than fresh bread.
* Don't overmix the batter, as it will result in a dense pudding.
* Let the pudding cool completely before serving, as it will set and become more firm.
